We have come across many times with this saying that “Prevention is better than cure” and in the case of certain prevent cancer, it holds true. A step taken today can make the future better.

  • Try to maintain a healthy weight.

  • Get vaccinated for HPV and Hepatitis B, etc. to avoid cervical cancer and liver cancer.
  • Exercise daily.
  • Get a regular medical check-up.

A better health program reduces the risk of cancer. Many lives can be saved by taking preventive measures.

If people stop smoking, avoid heavy drinking, maintain a healthy BMI range, healthy eating habits, and regular exercise can help to prevent cancer to some extent.  

The young generation needs to understand the importance of prevention to improve their life.

To set an example it is the responsibility of the parent to stop smoking. There are many steps to prevent cancer caused by tobacco.

Teenagers should be encouraged to lead a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of cancer.

It is the responsibility of the elders to make them understand the consequence of smoking and how it can spoil their future.
